"Some Facts About Online News"

Have you ever wondered why newspapers chose to create an online presence for themselves in recent years? The simple reason for this is because hard-copy newspapers were finding it harder and harder to compete with broadcast journalism and radio. It is pretty obvious that anyone would prefer watching the news instead of reading it. It is because of this that newspapers started losing their readers to other forms of journalism. Publishing newspapers online was the only logical step which they could take if they wanted to prevent themselves from getting extinct. Online news agencies like naked news are bound by the same journalism laws are regular newspapers but are able to do much more for their viewers/readers than regular newspapers. And since these newspapers do much more, they tend to reap larger rewards as well. And as far as traffic is concerned, while print newspapers are usually circulated in a few towns or cities, online newspapers are available to any and everyone in the world with an internet connection.

Even the news reporters or naked news anchors for these websites shoot videos and write supporting stories which can be published on their websites. In fact, this type of journalism has caught on so much that many institutions have included education about online newspapers in their publications as well. The students in these institutions are taught the importance of the internet as a medium for journalism and how they can use the internet to their benefit as journalists. Most of the things which were special about regular newspapers like the classifieds have found their way into online newspapers as well. And since the profits in the newspaper industry have been declining steadily in the last few years, most news agencies have started relying solely on their e-paper to bring in the money. But these e-papers don't charge any money. So you must be wondering how they make money. Through advertisements off course. I mean if there is an e-paper which is being read by 100,000 people every day; wouldn't you find it appropriate if they started offering advertising space? Who wouldn't be willing to pay to have 100,000 eyes seeing their advertisement on a daily basis?
